Efficiency hasn’t been our path. Diving deep has. We started with an ambitious garden. We learned we loved to grow flowers (and habitat) more than food. We learned we love native plants.
We learned we wanted animals on our pastures to rebuild our soils. We built a flerd (half-flock, half-herd). We learned (and are still learning), how to grow that flerd. We’re learning where and how to mill wool locally. We’re still learning.
