Celebrate the sun being at its peak - called Summer Solstice or Litha - with this mini retreat at the picturesque Hillstomp Farm. Led by LuLUV Healing, we will sing powerful heart-opening songs, cultivate our true intentions for the season, and explore both grounding and celebratory movement. Raising our energy and our voices together, we will play in a meaningful way to ensure a fulfilling summer and beyond.
The festivities will begin on Friday afternoon at 3pm with opening songs and interactive play led by Holly Jones, of Hillstomp Farm. From there Lulu Mosman will lead us through embodying our inner wisdom and other self-loving activities, and nourishing ourselves with intentional movement. In the evening, we will build a fire and share dinner. Around the fire, Jasmin Soleil Krone will guide us to tune into our inner Wild nature and play with belly dance inspired movement. She will also lead an Earth ceremony to celebrate this powerful crossover from the waxing to waning year. Along with this giving back to Mother Nature, we can share more intentional songs and music, create an altar, make paleo s’mores, admire the stars, and connect with each other.
You may camp on the land or leave as you wish. If you stay overnight, we will rise from this shortest night with a morning of qi gong & yoga-inspired practice, and take a foray into the forest for guided journaling, mindfulness, and nature time. Festivities will conclude after brunch, at noon, with send-off songs. Expect to feel refreshed, grounded, energized, and inspired!
Some food will be provided; we also ask you to bring a potluck dish for one or both meals.
Entry for adults is $30 for Friday afternoon and evening only, or $40 for Friday and Saturday. Children will have playmates and lots of room to run around. Crafts and childcare are available for $15.
